Donors have become increasingly comfortable using technology solutions to meet their estate planning needs. In this session, we will look at the rise of online will-writing technology and how planned giving professionals can utilize these tools to increase accessibility to estate planning and planned giving among their donors. We will also take a look at the difference between "online" wills and "electronic" wills, and discuss what the future of will-writing technology might look like. Jade Bristol, J.D.
Chief Development Officer Giving Docs
Jade Bristol is Chief Development Officer at Giving Docs, where she works with planned giving professionals across the country to amplify their planned giving results using Giving Docs' online estate planning tools. A former Trusts & Estates attorney, Jade has 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector where she led planned giving departments at Human Rights Campaign and Muscular Dystrophy Association. She serves on the Board of the National Capital Gift Planning Council, and has co-authored extensive research on the intersection between DEI and planned giving. Jade is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center where her studies emphasized tax law.
